SMC FRP Cooling Tower Fan Stack is an essential part of cooling tower located at the top of the cooling tower. It is made of superior FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastics). Its inner smooth surface enables air move fast while the outer surface provides high strength and resistance against climatic conditions. The exterior surface is coated with gel coat resin, which can effectively resist the ageing and ultraviolet. The shape of classic cylindrical fan stack contributes to lower noise and reduce vibration of not only the fan itself, but also the whole cooling tower.

Technical Notes
  • P applies to SMC FRP cooling tower fan stacks of all modules. P = 65 mm
Installation
  1. Assemble the lower tower body first during installation. Assemble the lower parts by four pieces or by two pieces and then joint together.
  2. Complete the lower tower body assembly. Adjust the interval between the fan and blades to make it equal. Install the upper tower body. The upper parts shall be assembled piece by piece and then connected with the lower parts. Install the upper part connection successively.
Four pieces of the SMC FRP cooling tower fan stack panels are connected.
Step 1
Eight pieces of the SMC FRP cooling tower fan stack panels are connected.
Step 2
The lower parts of the SMC FRP cooling tower fan stack are completed.
Step 3
Two pieces of upper panels of the SMC FRP cooling tower fan stack are installed on the lower body
Step 4
Most of upper panels of the SMC FRP cooling tower fan stack are connected.
Step 5
The entire SMC FRP cooling tower fan stack are completed.
Step 6

Notes: during fan stack installation, glass glue shall be applied on the joint gap of every stack and then fixed with bolts.

We have 3 kinds of bolts to offer.

  • φ10 × 35 = 384 sets (for the connection of main tower body)
  • φ10 × 55 = 24 sets (for the joint gap of four panels)
  • Round cap φ10 × 35 = 120 caps (for the connection between the upper panel and lower panel. The round cap bolt shall be extended out from the tower.)
Two cooling tower in the factory is production.
